Clarendon Terrace
Clarendon Terrace is three two-storey houses constructed in the Victorian Free Classical style. It is one of Melbourne’s grandest terraces designed by Osgood Pritchard in 1856-57. Wexhaus’ re-imagining of the magnificent mansion balances contemporary elegance with sensitivity to the heritage fabric. Our design proposes to add a basement level with an underground pool and sauna and elevates the grand architectural features of the terrace, contributing a grand library as part of the professional wing of the mansion and a Japanese inspired Zen garden within the original Victorian walls.
