Spotted Dove House
Spotted Dove House is a weatherboard Californian Bungalow house in Northcote. Designed for a professional couple and young family, the existing bungalow will undergo restoration, along with a new two-storey extension at the rear.
Tying it all together is a two-storey rammed earth wall anchoring all of the main rooms of the home together.
The house will include four bedrooms, a study, a dressing room off the main bedroom, a new indoor pool, piano room and a rear carport accessed from the ROW.
Wexhaus have carefully detailed every aspect of the Bungalow to revive the original design intent of Californian Bungalows, with a strong juxtaposition between the principal rooms and the ancillary spaces such as walkways.
